I feel like 173 should take some notes from 096 and gain AHP depending on how many people are looking at him instead of having a ridiculous base AHP of 1500 which makes damaging him essentially impossible unless you have a massive group of people or the 173 blows and lets you micro him. With the new 173 that strategy on both ends is just completely irrelevant and impossible to take advantage of since human players can't run the entire distance 173 teleports before he can just teleport again and insta-kill you, so if you run yourself into anything you can't open or a dead end you might as well just give up and die so you can ensure that you'll respawn.įrustrating for sure, but I wouldn't have as much of an issue with it if the new 173 wasn't given a ridiculous amount of AHP that allows him to survive groups of people all looking and shooting at him at the same time while barely taking a dent in his actual HP if any at all. Unlike the old peanut you can't run to a specific far enough range away from him that he can't reach and hope they try to go for you allowing you to run behind them and escape, of course the old 173 could counter that by not moving as close or by having taken any damage which increases the teleport range.

His range is ridiculous and if you're alone you're essentially dead for sure unless you're near an elevator, much like triggering 096. Gameplay-wise it just feels extremely unfair/unfun to play against any semi-decent 173. I don't care about the model really, I preferred the old one but I'm not gonna stop playing because they changed it. For complaints, I'd have to start out with saying that 173 is my least favorite change, he's way too powerful now. Some of my complaints might just be beta issues that will get solved but that's fine. Visual improvements are great too with surface looking much better and viewmodels being polished quite a bit.

The optimization is surprisingly good and honestly makes the game so much more enjoyable when I'm getting 144 fps instead of 25.

To start out, I think the update to the guns is pretty good overall, I often times get shot at from the far end of a darkened corridor by an invisible attacker and lose half my HP but it's certainly better than the chaotic hopping and shooting that everyone did before.
